Live It Out!

When the time came for Jesus to begin His public ministry, He had to leave His hometown of Nazareth. We all will come to a point in our lives where we must be willing to leave our comfort zones in order to accomplish the things God has for us. Don’t be afraid to trust God and to move forward boldly in life and in ministry.

The Samaritans were dependents of the northern kingdom of Israel (Israel split into two kingdoms after the reign of Solomon). For hundreds of years, they were separated from Jerusalem, the center of the Jewish faith. The coming of the Messiah brought these people (and many others) together under the new banner of the Church. Jew, Samaritan, Gentile, white, black, rich, poor — all secondary to our new identity in Christ.
