Six Thirty Saturday Nite (Savior of the World) – April 16, 2016

We took “church on the go” on the road this week to Virginia. Our passage for the week is Acts 8:26-40 where Phillip shares the Gospel with the Ethiopian Eunuch. Our big idea was that the Gospel is good news for everyone regardless of who they are or where they come from.

A Restless Wanderer – September 23, 2016

You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.'” – Genesis 4:10-12 (NIV) Live It Out! Sin leads to the curse of being separated from our Heavenly Father. When we lose contact with the God who created us, we begin to lose ourselves. A life without God is a life void of any real meaning. Like Cain, we would be restless wanderers if left to our own devices. However, there is Good News! Together Again – April 16, 2016

Today’s Translation : The Amplified Bible | Weekly Video : Spirit of Restoration (Acts 8:9-25) “So, when Peter and John had given their testimony and preached the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, preaching the good news [about salvation] in many Samaritan villages [along the way].” – Acts 8:25 (AMP) Live It Out! The Samaritans were dependents of the northern kingdom of Israel (Israel split into two kingdoms after the reign of Solomon). For hundreds of years, they were separated from Jerusalem, the center of the Jewish faith. The coming of the Messiah brought these people (and many others) together under the new banner of the Church. Jew, Samaritan, Gentile, white, black, rich, poor — all secondary to our new identity in Christ.
