Live video from our weekly Six Thirty Saturday Nite service! We will continue our #WeAreOne campaign by looking at what Paul wrote to the divided Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians 3.
Today’s Translation : The Voice Bible | Weekly Video : Call of Abram (Genesis 12:1-9) “ I have plans to make a great people from your descendants. And I am going to put a special blessing on you and cause your reputation to grow so that you will become a blessing and example to others. ” – Genesis 12: 2 ( VOICE ) Live It Out! Abram was an old man with no children, but God promised to make him a great nation if he would simply step out in faith. No matter your age or where you are in life, God is not finished with you. Every blessing given to you is meant to be passed on to others. God did not promise to make Abram a great nation for his benefit but for the benefit of future generations. from Paradigm Shift Ministries http://ift.tt/2efq8WP via IFTTT
Today’s Translation : New International Version | Weekly Video : Cain & Abel (Genesis 4:1-16) “The Lord said, ‘ What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground. Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.'” – Genesis 4:10-12 (NIV) Live It Out! Sin leads to the curse of being separated from our Heavenly Father. When we lose contact with the God who created us, we begin to lose ourselves. A life without God is a life void of any real meaning. Like Cain, we would be restless wanderers if left to our own devices. However, there is Good News! Jesus has come to pay the price for our sin and thus restore the broken relationship between man and God. Find your purpose in Him! from Paradigm Shift Ministries http://ift.tt/2d25WDM via IFTTT
Today’s Translation : The Amplified Bible | Weekly Video : Spirit of Restoration (Acts 8:9-25) “So, when Peter and John had given their testimony and preached the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, preaching the good news [about salvation] in many Samaritan villages [along the way].” – Acts 8:25 (AMP) Live It Out! The Samaritans were dependents of the northern kingdom of Israel (Israel split into two kingdoms after the reign of Solomon). For hundreds of years, they were separated from Jerusalem, the center of the Jewish faith. The coming of the Messiah brought these people (and many others) together under the new banner of the Church. Jew, Samaritan, Gentile, white, black, rich, poor — all secondary to our new identity in Christ. Let us pray for unity and healing in the body of Christ. from Paradigm Shift Ministries http://ift.tt/266Jgt5 via IFTTT
