Six Thirty Saturday Nite (Call of Abram) - October 15, 2016



This week's Six Thirty Saturday Nite continues our look at the Patriarchs by talking about how God called Abram to leave home and lay the foundation for the future Israel. Abram's faithful response to God's call would eventually lead to Jesus coming to bless the world by giving His life to pay the price of our sin. Like Abram, we are called to be a blessing to others.

No matter our color or our creed, we all (as Christians) share a common foundation — Christ lived a sinless life, died on a cross, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and is coming back again. Our salvation is tied to our foundation. Denominational doctrine and stylistic preferences are to be of secondary concern. Part of the Family – April 30, 2016

Today’s Translation : The Amplified Bible | Weekly Video : The Right Way (Acts 9:1-19) “So Ananias left and entered the house, and he laid his hands on Saul and said, ‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came [to Damascus], has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit [in order to proclaim Christ to both Jews and Gentiles].’ Immediately something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight.
