Live It Out!

The Church is made up of individuals. God created each of us with our own gifts, talents and passions so that we can work together to build up the body. The best way to ‘find yourself’ is to find your place in the Church. We – all of us – are the body of Christ.

The Samaritans were dependents of the northern kingdom of Israel (Israel split into two kingdoms after the reign of Solomon). For hundreds of years, they were separated from Jerusalem, the center of the Jewish faith. The coming of the Messiah brought these people (and many others) together under the new banner of the Church. Jew, Samaritan, Gentile, white, black, rich, poor — all secondary to our new identity in Christ.
