“And if one member suffers, all the parts share the suffering; if one member is honored, all rejoice with it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:26

Live It Out!

We generally do a good job at celebrating the big things in life — birthdays weddings, etc. — but we don’t always do a good job lifting each other up for smaller accomplishments. When you smile, your whole body feels happy, so, as the body of Christ, we need to smile more together.

The Samaritans were dependents of the northern kingdom of Israel (Israel split into two kingdoms after the reign of Solomon). For hundreds of years, they were separated from Jerusalem, the center of the Jewish faith. The coming of the Messiah brought these people (and many others) together under the new banner of the Church. Jew, Samaritan, Gentile, white, black, rich, poor — all secondary to our new identity in Christ.
