The Passover Meal – March 28, 2016

“When the time came, Jesus and the apostles sat down together at the table. Jesus said, ‘I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins.'” – Luke 22:14-15 (NLT)

Live It Out!

The Passover meal was an important event in the Jewish calendar. It was when families would come together to reflect on the events leading up to the exodus out of Egypt. In the story, the angel of death passed over the homes marked by the blood of a lamb. We believe Jesus to be the perfect and final Passover Lamb. Death will pass over us because we have been marked by His holy blood.
