A Good Man – October 21, 2016

“He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Harran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there. Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land.” – Genesis 12:5-6 (NIV)

Live It Out!

Long before God called Abram to leave home and follow Him to te promised land, Abram prepared his heart by seeking to do good by others. When God told him it was time to go, those closest to him joined him in his journey – they knew he was a righteous and faithful man, and they wanted to be a part of whatever God was going to do through him. If you feel like you are “waiting on God”, invest the time you have in building relationships and prayerfully preparing your heart for the coming call.
