Six Thirty Saturday Nite (The Patriarchs) – October 8, 2016

Tonight we continued our #GodOfOurFathers campaign by taking a look at the Patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph) as listed in Hebrews 11:8-22. The question before us is whether or not we are willing to walk by faith as they did, forsaking all we have to pursue God’s will for our lives. If we want to change this world for the better, then we need to dream the impossible, live for something bigger than ourselves and focus on the future. We can make a difference. Keep the faith!

Just as God called out Israel to be His witnesses during their time in exile, He is calling us out in our exile. This world is not our home. Let us stay focused on heaven above while telling people about what Jesus has done in our lives.
