Encourage Each Other – May 25, 2016

Today’s Translation: Holman Christian Standard Bible | Weekly Video: The Whole Truth (Acts 18:24-19:7)

“When he wanted to cross over to Achaia, the brothers wrote to the disciples urging them to welcome him. After he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace. For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating through the Scriptures that Jesus is the Messiah.” – Acts 18:27-28 (HCSB)

Live It Out!

Once Apollos was on the right track thanks to Priscilla and Aquila, he felt led to go to Achaia, which is the province where Corinth was located. Because he was open to correction and eager to work alongside his fellow believers, the Christians in Ephesus wrote to the Corinthians on his behalf. We should follow this example today – both in vouching for others and being people who deserve to be vouched for. And, like Apollos, led our ministry always be all about Jesus.
