Why Are You Persecuting Me? – April 26, 2016

Today’s Translation: The Voice Bible | Weekly Video: The Right Way (Acts 9:1-19)

“He traveled north toward Damascus with a group of companions. Imagine this: Suddenly a light flashes from the sky around Saul, and he falls to the ground at the sound of a voice. The Lord: ‘Saul, Saul, why are you attacking Me?’ Saul: ‘Lord, who are You?’ Then he hears these words: The Lord: ‘I am Jesus. I am the One you are attacking.’” – Acts 9:3-5 (VOICE)

Live It Out!

Jesus makes things personal. The person of Jesus is what makes Christianity different than any other religion or ideology. We follow the living Son of God. When people reject the Gospel, they are rejecting Jesus Himself. Jesus gave His life for the forgiveness of our sin. Saying no thank you to that gift goes far beyond rejecting a faith or ideology. Jesus died for you. And then He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. Not only that, He will come again to set all things right. Don’t just believe in Jesus; actively follow Him.
