Enoch’s Prophecy – September 29, 2016

“Enoch, the seventh after Adam, prophesied of them: “Look! The Master comes with thousands of holy angels to bring judgment against them all, convicting each person of every defiling act of shameless sacrilege, of every dirty word they have spewed of their pious filth.” These are the “grumpers,” the bellyachers, grabbing for the biggest piece of the pie, talking big, saying anything they think will get them ahead.” – Jude 14-16 (MSG)

Live It Out!

Enoch (the great-grandfather of Noah) was a righteous man who lived during an unrighteous time. His prophecy here ultimately looks to Jesus as the one who will come and make all things right. As the Church, we too are called to remain a righteous remnant as we live in this unrighteous world. God takes seriously what we carry with us in our hearts, so make sure you are on the right side of history.
