Heir of Righteousness – September 10, 2016

“By faith [with confidence in God and His word] Noah, being warned by God about events not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his family. By this [act of obedience] he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith.” – Hebrews 11:7 (AMP)

Live It Out!

We are made righteous by our faith. By turning away from the world and giving himself fully over to God, Noah’s name became synonymous with great faith. When we give our lives over to Jesus, we are also born again. This means we have a new identity. Our individual and collective legacies can be defined by either our mistakes or our faith. What will it be for you? Will you follow the world’s advice and build up your own kingdom, or will you seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness?
