“Now Adam had sexual relations with his wife, Eve, and she became pregnant. When she gave birth to Cain, she said, “With the Lord’s help, I have produced a man!” Later she gave birth to his brother and named him Abel.” – Genesis 4:1-2 (NLT)

Live It Out!

Even though Adam and Eve had been exiled from Eden, Eve recognizes that God is still with her. Children are a blessing from God, and despite the curse detailed in Genesis 3:16, Eve remains grateful to God for the blessing of motherhood. Remember that even though we may fall, our children give us the opportunity to leave a bigger legacy of faith.
